Posts: 72 (06/16/03 21:38:56) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Being some what new to the whole college paintball scene I would love to know when, as a conference, we vote on things like where and when the conference championships will take place. If there isn't any set way of doing so... why not start. I know in college football, soccer, baseball, etc. all the members of "so in so" conference get together and decide when they play each other and such. Why not do something like that for college paintball? Maybe this post belongs in the general discussion forum... Chris... I know you will probably read this at one point or another... what do you think?

Whoever wants to put the effort forward to do it does it. Over with MICT whoever wins plans it for the next year . I think maybe we should have a conference board for a year like the NCPA board excpt we worry about just our conference. Let ever school that played in the conference the previous year have a person on it or something like that. The school can decide who to put there so we don't have to worry about electing anybody. We then meet on AIM chat or something to that effect 3 or 4 times and see what we come up with.

Also, I thought I read somewhere that one of the teams at last years GPIC was sponsored fairly well... was that you? We used to be sponsored fairly well but didn't focus on maintaining that sponsorship this past year, so we could focus on our field. The only real update on our field is that it should be done by the begining of August. All our crap is sitting in storage waiting for them to tear out the asphalt and fill back up with dirt and be seeded. We're planning on a grass surface but we're seeding not sodding because sodding costs way too much. When we do get it done we'll make a big announcement of some sort.

Tourneys will ONLY have airball bunkers (no plastic highway bunkers except for the starting gate).
